MTNL provides its services in Delhi and Mumbai circles.
MTNL has to pay Rs. 11,000/- crore to renew its license and other kinds of stuff.
MTNL has a strength of around 27,919/- employees.
In past, Government wants to merge MTNL and BSNL but it couldn’t happen.
MTNL said that they had a loss of Rs. 2,941 crore in 2016-2017 and they had a profit around 2,870 crores in the same year.

So, the bottom line is, my friends, there is a danger sign on MTNL, they are running in loss and can be shutdown anytime.
